The Mooresville HPC identifies and protects the character of Mooresville’s historic places. It regulates landmarks and districts that embody the key elements of Mooresville’s cultural and architectural history, for the education, pleasure and enrichment of residents and visitors.

The Mooresville HPC members are appointed by Town Council. The Mooresville Planning Department staff serve as liason between the two boards.
